When we first started with you, we were so overwhelmed and scared about our daughter's future. Would she ever be able to communicate with others? Would kids make fun of how she sounded? Even though you told us it was all correctable with time, we had a hard time at first believing it given the severity of her situation. As the months went by, we started realizing how much more we were understanding and also noticed that our daughter's confidence around others had changed. She was becoming more comfortable because she knew she sounded more normal. And today, she sounds like a typical 4 year old. When I ask my little girl about Miss Lauren, she always tells me that "Miss Lauren gave me my words" and we cannot thank you enough for that. You changed our little girl's life and we are forever grateful.
